Seamless socks can help kids
Seamless socks are some of the most comfortable socks you can buy, but they can be lifesavers for kids with tactile defensiveness. Tactile defensiveness is a condition caused by neurological disorganization in the part of the brain that filters incoming stimuli. Because the brain cannot process and sort out all of the incoming data, the body is overwhelmed with information. Tactile defensiveness can lead to producing high levels of distress in kids who do not wear seamless clothing. Because the skin of a tactile defensive person is extremely sensitive, clothing tags and seams can be awfully irritating, to the point where the kids refuse to wear socks even on the coldest winter days. Footwear often causes big problems suffering from this condition. Because most socks contain seams, they can unintentionally bunch up inside of shoes and spur a lot of irritation. By using seamless socks for kids, the sock is more fitted to the foot and will reduce the level of irritation a person might have. Whether or not your child suffers from tactile defensiveness or just is extremely sensitive to seams, seamless socks are an excellent alternative to normal socks and don’t look odd at all. They are just more comfortable socks
